Children's Memorial Hospital

McCaffery Interests was selected over eight other high quality teams to be the exclusive developer of the Children’s Memorial Hospital site in Lincoln Park in a rigorous RFP selection process. The hospital is moving their operations to a brand new facility in Streeterville in June 2012 and MI is working with the City, Community and Alderman to master plan a new mixed-use development in its place. The 6.04-acre site is located at the highly visible six-way intersection at Lincoln/Halsted and Fullerton, adjacent to DePaul’s campus and near Oz Park, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Fullerton elevated stop, and multiple historical districts containing some of the city’s most beautiful old homes. The new development will be transit-oriented and sustainable, combine new construction with historic preservation, and create a vibrant new gateway for the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
