Daniel McCaffery is responsible for leading the vision, strategic direction, new business creation and enhancement for all aspects of the firm. Mr. McCaffery has thirty years of experience in the real estate industry and has led the development of more than $2 billion of urban mixed-use projects. Before forming McCaffery Interests, Dan worked in Canada and the US with Oxford Properties and BCE Development (now Brookfield), one of the largest and most successful Canadian real estate companies, where he was Senior Vice President responsible for its Midwest and Mountain Operations. Dan has been very active with the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers, where he is a sought after speaker and participant on panels and award juries. Mr. McCaffery was educated in Ireland and Canada and earned a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Master of Arts from the University of Alberta.

Edmund Woodbury is responsible for leading the firm’s executive management team and executing on the vision and strategic direction set by the firm. Mr. Woodbury has twenty-five years of experience in the real estate industry in numerous executive positions focused on the successful development of $1.5 billion of urban mixed-use projects. Ed is a registered architect and practiced for seven years in the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in various senior design and management positions. He also held senior positions in Oxford Properties and BCE Development (now Brookfield) before joining McCaffery Interests. Ed is also active in his community, having served on his zoning board, plan commission and is a former Trustee and President of the village in which he resides. Mr. Woodbury received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the University of Illinois.

Juan Cameron is responsible for identifying new business, development and acquisition opportunities. He joined McCaffery after a very successful career with Randall Hagner, a regional diversified real estate brokerage firm in Washington, D.C. Juan has been active in the real estate business for over twenty-five years. Mr. Cameron served on the Board of Directors for the National Child Research Center, in Washington DC, a renowned early pre-school in Washington, DC. He has overseen the leasing of major projects at McCaffery that include Mazza Gallerie, Friendship Center and The Market Common, Clarendon and Myrtle Beach. Mr. Cameron earned a Bachelor of Arts at Boston University.

John Ziegenhein is primarily responsible for sourcing and structuring new investments. Mr. Ziegenhein has thirteen years of commercial real estate investment experience focusing on acquiring value-add properties, structuring equity investments in joint venture development projects, purchasing distressed debt, and providing advisory services on real estate investment strategies for institutions, pension funds and high net worth individuals. Mr. Ziegenhein has placed over $500 million of equity in all real estate asset types throughout the U.S. Previously, Mr. Ziegenhein was part of the executive team at The Bear Companies and a Vice President at ASB Capital Management. Mr. Ziegenhein received his MBA with a finance concentration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a BA in Political Science.

Angela Woolfolk is responsible for all aspects of the financial operation of the company, accounting, human resources, risk management and technology. Ms. Woolfolk has worked over twenty years in the industry after a career at Coopers & Lybrand (currently known as Price Waterhouse Coopers). Angela is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois.

Constance Brown is responsible for maintaining the company’s accounting records and for accurate and timely reporting to financial partners. Connie has worked in the financial side of residential and commercial real estate for twenty years. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Robert Morris College.

Yvonne Jones is responsible for the overall performance of commercial and residential properties. Yvonne was previously the President and Principal at Zifkin Realty Group, where she launched the firm’s property and asset management group. She represented the interests of overseas clients as a Senior Asset Manager at EIKO International, Inc. She is a licensed broker in Illinois and Indiana and seeking her license in Michigan. She has earned the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and CPM (Certified Property Manager) designations.

Clayton McCaffery is responsible for development services, marketing, and leasing for the firm. Previously with Mid-America Real Estate Group in Chicago and Liberty Greenfield in Denver, Mr. McCaffery has more than fifteen years experience representing owners’ and tenants’ real estate interests. Clayton earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a license broker in Illinois, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Tyler Quast is responsible for servicing existing leasing and property management assignments and generating new third party business. Prior to joining McCaffery Interests, Tyler was a founding member of Zifkin Realty Group and the Director of Leasing at ZRG. Tyler received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from University of Kansas. He is a licensed broker in Illinois and Indiana and a designated CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).

James Steman is responsible for project budgeting, construction and tenant coordination. Jim joined the firm in 2001 after a successful career working for Panasonic Real Estate Development, Universal Studios and the Mills Corporation. Mr. Steman attained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Minnesota, and took coursework towards an MBA at the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. Jim was educated abroad in high school and speaks fluent Japanese. He is a LEED-accredited professional (LEED-AP).
